Building sites are busy. And with a tight schedule to keep, hard rubbish removal is the last thing you want to be worried about. Luckily, Cheapest Load of Rubbish offers construction site removal that’s easy, environmentally friendly, and won’t get in the way of your work.

What is construction rubbish?

With construction and renovation at an all-time high in Sydney, construction and demolition projects are everywhere. Construction rubbish is the material left behind after construction work is done.

From old tiles to concrete, construction rubbish has to be disposed of to make way for new buildings, renovations, roads, and developments.

How Cheapest Load of Rubbish can help

When it comes to hard rubbish removal, you want a no-fuss solution, and that’s exactly what we offer. For projects that require multiple pick-ups, we can arrange daily, weekly, or fortnightly visits.

A large fleet of trucks allows us to have quick turnaround times that won’t disrupt the progress of your project. It’s as easy as driving up, loading up, and carrying your rubbish away!

Because we walk the rubbish to our trucks, difficult site access is never an issue. We provide hard debris removal to any site and any job.

We also offer free onsite quotes so you can stay on budget. And if you’re happy with the quote, we’ll remove your rubbish right then and there! Our services take the effort out of construction site removal.

Skip the skip bin

There’s really no comparing a skip bin with the ease and convenience of instant rubbish removal. With pre-arranged pick up and drop off times, you have to abide by someone else’s schedule. That’s a real feat when there’s a construction schedule to keep! We’ll pick up your rubbish at a time that suits you and your project.

With instant rubbish removal, you can avoid council fees and you won’t have to worry about which hard debris is accepted and which ones aren’t. Our hard debris removal service picks up more types of debris with ease.

Sustainable services

Cheapest Load of Rubbish isn’t just easy and convenient; it’s also environmentally friendly. We use recycling methods where construction and building waste is salvaged and reused.

Materials like wood can be recovered and reused, while brick and concrete come full circle after being crushed and reused in future construction. We then take building materials to recycling centres where they are further sorted and recycled.

We’re committed to sustainable methods for construction site removal, so you’ll have peace of mind as your rubbish is taken away.

Don’t let construction rubbish build up. Contact Cheapest Load of Rubbish today! We can help remove any construction site rubbish before it builds up.

Building the Green Star Dream

While it seems that the great urban spread is taking over our once green and luscious landscape, architects and builders have never before been so focused on keeping our municipalities ‘green’.

Sustainable living is no longer a buzzword, it’s a reality in our every day lives.

One exceptional example of this can be seen at Sydney’s own ‘One Central Park’, where architects and designers from Sydney, London, Paris and Copenhagen have collaborated to create an innovative and unique structure that not only looks inspirational, but offers it’s own on-site tri-generation plant, supplying electricity, heating and cooling.

With careful waste management planning, centralparksydney.com, claims to have recycled 93% of all demolition waste. Pretty impressive for a development that covers 5.8 hectares of space!

Developments such as this, achieving 5 Star Green Star ratings, give us hope that while our population is growing, and demands on infrastructure and natural resources increase, our prime agriculture land can remain untouched and the houses and buildings that we reside in, are built and demolished in the most environmentally friendly way as possible, leaving landfill a thing of the past and reclaiming energy from waste as a standard practice.

Keeping It Green

While Cheapest Load of Rubbish has been recycling for a number of years, many of our building clients are unaware of our true capabilities.

What sets us apart from other hand-loading rubbish removal services is our ability to sort every load of rubbish at our warehouse. By doing this, not only are we helping to reduce your carbon footprint, but we have the capacity to help builders achieve Green Star ratings (a rating system developed by the Green Building Council of Australia).

It Doesn’t Stop There

As well as building clients, we help other customers maintain their Green Star rating too. We service offices, schools, residential buildings, industrial sites, retail centres, healthcare organisations and more.

The 9 Lives of Gyprock

What do new builds, renovations and demolition all have in common? Gyprock or plasterboard that’s what!

Approximately 80 million tonnes of plasterboard is produced per year worldwide, with a high percentage ending up in landfill. But why is this the case when plasterboard is 100 percent recyclable?

‘Plasterboard’ a product that has been used in construction for decades, is made up of 2 key ingredients. Gypsum, a naturally occurring sedimentary rock, and paper.

Each of these components, once no longer needed, can be separated and recycled or reused in  new applications.

Large sheets of plasterboard, if in good condition can be reused in other building projects, while smaller pieces can be sent off for recycling.

Gypsum itself can be reclaimed and used in Plaster of Paris, pottery and road surfaces, or can be used as a soil conditioner, helping to improve clay soils.

Does Cheapest Load of Rubbish Recycle Plasterboard and Gyprock?

Every load of rubbish we collect is sorted and redistributed to transfer stations or recycling yards. We pride ourselves on our recycling effort with up to 80% off all waste collected recycled.

We believe that recycling is the key to a sustainable future. Recycling not only reduces energy consumption, but it also helps to reduce environmental pollution too.

How does your service work?

Cheapest Load of Rubbish offers a hand-loading rubbish removal service. This means that our team members remove your rubbish from your house, garden, business or building site by hand and load it onto our tipper trucks.

Our customers prefer this style of waste collection because,

  1. our labour means they relax while the rubbish is gone same day,
  2. no unsightly skip bins, no council permits and no risk of paying for other peoples rubbish!
  3. our rates are by the cubic metre, so you only pay for the space you take up on our trucks.

Did you know?

  • In 1894, Augustine Sackett invented the first type of plasterboard, sandwiching Plaster of Paris between 2 layers of paper.
  • After the Great Fire of London in 1666, Louis XIV of France issued an official order requiring buildings to be coated inside and out with gypsum. This was to reduce the risk of fires spreading.
  • Gypsum is one of the oldest building materials in the world, being used on the internal walls of the great pyramids, dating back to 9000 B.C.!
  • Over the period 2006–07 to 2010–11, the resource recovery rate in Australia increased nine per cent – from 51 per cent to 60 per cent. (Department of the Environment) At Cheapest Load of Rubbish we’re happy to be contributing to this statistic!
